When my older brother, Taras, married Marta, I for some reason really wanted to give them a “home-sweet-home” style wall hanging.  I lifted these figures from an embroidery magazine from Ukraine to which I had subscribed for a little while and refashioned the writing in the original design to simply write their names.  Here it is in the making and as a finished product.

This wedding gift flew to London and was delivered just as Marta and Taras were leaving the house to get hitched 🙂
