Цей взір не вперше вишитий мною. Ви може його впізнаєте із Великодньої серветки яку я вишила паро років тому EASTER SERVETKA. Прекрашує він рукава жіночої сорочки із села Пробіна, Верховинсього району, Івано-Франківсьої області, яка знаходеться в музеї національного мистецтва Гуцульщини і Покуття ім. Й. Кобринського https://hutsul.museum. А зображення рукава знаходиться в розкішному альбомі INSPIRATIONS від видавництва Родовід https://rodovid.net.

Цей взір мені так сподобався, що я його нібито хтіла присвоїти і почала його називати Гуцулка Ксеня.

Попередньо, я була підібрала нитки які відповідають на кольори оригіналу. Але така ж яскрава і кольорова вишивка захоплює уяву і мені придумався рушник вишитий відтінкаму сонця коли воно лише сходить. Схід сонця, це початок чогось нового, нового дня. Коли прокидаюся раненько і відчуваю спокій раннього ранку, коли світ ще не вповністю вийшов із сну, буває таке почуття, що ВСЕ за цей день можливе.

І тому цей рушник, На сході сонця, мені говорить про золотисті промені, чисте небо і свіже, холодненьке повітр’я, запах трави і землі промоклі від роси, про можливості, про відроду, про надію.

Він багатий не тільки золотими никтами, але кількістю густого взору. Оригінал ви бачете в середній стрічці, а кінчик і взір що пр’ямує до серединки, ці придумала моя голка.

Hello, my dear friends! The Resistance Rooster and I have the honour to present to you a newly completed embroidery project: Hutsulka Ksenia in the Sunrise, a.k.a Sunrise Rushnyk.

What is she on? you ask.

It’s not the first time I have embroidered this design. You may recognize it from the Easter servetka that I embroidered a couple of years ago EASTER SERVETKA. It decorates the sleeves of a woman’s shirt from the village of Probina, Verkhovyna district, Ivano-Frankivsk region, which is located in the museum of folk art of the Hutsul and Pokuttia regions, named after J. Kobrynskyi https://hutsul.museum. And the image of the sleeve is in the luxurious album INSPIRATIONS from the publishing house Rodovid https://rodovid.net/en/.

I love this design so much and due to its Hutsul origins and its decorating a woman’s shirt, I started calling it Hutsulka Ksenia.

Previously, I had selected threads that match the colors of the original. But the variety of colours and the vividness of the design is captivating and I dreamed up the idea of embroidering it using shades of the sun when it is just rising. Sunrise is the beginning of something new. When I wake early and feel around me the peacefulness of an early morning, when the world has not yet fully left behind its dreams, I have the feeling that this day, EVERYTHING is possible.

Sunrise Rushnyk speaks to me of deep gold sunbeams, a clear sky and fresh, cool air, the smell of grass and earth soaked with dew, of possibilities, of regeneration, of hope.

It is rich, not only with golden stitches, but with the density of the design. You can see the original in the centre stream. The end and the pattern heading to the middle were invented by my embroidery needle.
